Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education Rajbagh Kathua, holds one day National Seminar on Topic “Indian Knowledge System through the lens of NEP2020” on 10th February 2024. Prof Seema Mir Principal Govt. Degree College Kathua graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Prof. J.N Baliya Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu was the Key Note Speaker of the event, Dr. Jaspal Singh, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu, Dr. Kajal Manhas Asstt. Prof. Department of Education, University of Jammu, Dr. Rajesh Associate Prof. Department of Education ICDEOL Himachal Pradesh University, Dr. Anita Goswami, Assistant Prof. Department of English applied Science and Humanities, COER University Roorkee Uttrakhand, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Head Department Economics, Govt. Degree College Dehra, Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Ram Singh Associate Prof. Department of Education Govt. Degree College Kathua, Dr. Rachna Devi Associate Prof. Department of Education, Govt. Degree College for Women Kathua , Dr. Yash Paul Sharma associate Prof. Department of Urdu, Govt. Degree College Kathua, were the resource persons of the Seminar.
In the Inaugural Session, The chief guests and all the designated dignitaries were honored by presenting bouquest. According to tradition, the chief guests and the dignitaries lighted the lamp of knowledge before the the goddess saraswati. Further Dr. Brij Kohli Principal of the hosting College welcomed all the guest and presented the theme and main objective of the Seminar in her welcome address. The Key note speaker Prof. J.N Baliya in his address explained about the Indian Knowledge System and NEP2020. He also added that India had been Vishav Guru and will attain that position by implementing this policy. He also discussed about the CCE system in the school. Chief Guest Prof. Seema Mir Principal Govt. Degree College Kathua discussed how this policy is going to be fruitful for the upcoming generation.
