Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education N.H. Rajbagh Kathua conducted a Seminar on “Dr. B. R . Ambedkar and his social and educational philosophy “on 12 th April 2022 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Prof . Yash paul sharma from GDC marheen graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The seminar was started by traditional lightning of lamp.
College Principal Dr. Brij Kohli, Administrator Sh. Harbans Singh, along with the staff members were present. Participants from B. Ed semester 1st and 3rd shared their views on Dr. Ambedkar and his social and educational philosophy. College Principal Dr. Brij Kohli welcomed the Chief guest and all the participants .
In her address, she said that India is still far behind from realization of Dr. B.R Ambedkar’s vision for number of reasons. In light of B.R. Ambedkar’s thoughts and ideas this Seminar intends to draw a road map for realization of Baba Sahib’s dreams. Chief Guest in his address congratulates all the participants and urged them to participate in such type of events in future. he also discussed contribution of Dr. B.R Ambadkar in building the constitution of India.
